Have you bad a Cornetto recently & noticed how crunchy it sounded?
The Perfect Crunch was a year-long project that included extensive research, academic studies, product analysis and even the building of an interactive Max MSP audio plugin to ascertain which audio frequencies would resonate with consumers as the “perfect crunch”.
Using these findings, the cone for the product itself was redesigned to provide consumers with the optimum crunch with every bite. I also created a mnemonic that encapsulated the sound of the perfect crunch to accompany this animation.

For Godiva's 90th Anniversary, I sculpted an audio journey that melded with the aroma of chocolate and hazelnut, enhancing the event's multisensory allure. From Brussels' welcome to the art deco venue, the soundscapes intertwined with Godiva's storied past and the tactile essence of its chocolates. The highlight was a bespoke sound design for the anniversary collection, accentuating the flavours and textures. This auditory experience was integral to the event's success, and contributed to significant press coverage and a surge in retail sales, underscoring the power of sensory integration in celebrating Godiva's heritage.
A two-hour soundscape to capture the brand essence of Jaguar-Land Rover within a showroom, enhancing both privacy and brand recognition. This soundscape is a blend of field recordings from iconic British spaces, car interiors, and iconic historic audio snippets, and was designed to echo the brand's essence, providing a serene environment for customers to enjoy. This is a 7-minute segment that showcases the composition of this brand-aligned auditory backdrop. (Headphones recommend)

For the Heineken Wild Lager Discovery, I crafted an immersive soundscape within a novel movable bar, encapsulated in two shipping containers adorned with living walls and a timber bar. I was tasked to produce immersive soundscapes that complemented the 'wild' essence of the lagers, synchronizing sound with dynamic projection sequences and sensory elements like lighting and canapés. This auditory backdrop not only elevated the tasting journey but also highlighted the brand's distinctiveness. Following its debut in Amsterdam, the experience's acclaim propelled it to further cities, underscoring the impact of sound design in enriching the multisensory exploration of Heineken's unique beer flavours.

During the early development stages of the social podcasting app, Stereo, I was brought on board to design the Audio User Experience (UX). My role encompassed the creation of a comprehensive auditory palette that complemented the app's functionality and enhanced user engagement. This involved curating unique notification sounds, designing interface sound effects, and integrating user-friendly audio feedback cues to create a seamless, immersive user experience. Ensuring the audio design harmonised with the visual elements, I focused on delivering a clear and intuitive sound environment that encouraged ease of use and engagement, thereby enriching the overall user experience within the app. Additionally I also created a short beat for Stereo's promotional video on the App Store, adding a catchy auditory element to their visual marketing materials.
